Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Overview and Program Details
Entering into this affiliate program agreement will allow you to display NameSilo marketing materials and receive a commission for any "Qualified Sales" that meet our "Commission Conditions".
Qualified Sales
You will receive commission for any of the types of orders below that also meet the "Commission Conditions":
- Domain registrations
- Incoming domain transfers
Commission Conditions
All of the conditions below must be met in order to receive commission for a referral:
- You will receive commission for any first-time order made by a user referred via your affiliate link. Subsequent orders from the same user do not qualify for commission
- Your referrals will have 1 year to place an order on our web site in order to qualify.
- If your referral arrives at our site via a different affiliate link during the 1 year interim, only the most recent affiliate will receive commission.
- If a user redeems an affiliate-only coupon, the affiliate associated with that coupon code will receive commission even if they originated from a different affiliate's link.
- You will not receive commission for orders placed by yourself, your employees, or anyone acting on your behalf.
- You will not receive commission for orders that utilize a coupon that is not an "Affiliate-Only Coupon".
- You will not receive commission for orders utilizing the same method of payment as any previous orders placed on our site.
- You will not receive commission for orders deemed, in our sole discretion, to circumvent these rules including, but not limited to, using a bot or other automated process to place orders or using a fraudulent payment method.
Commission Calculation and Payout Schedule
Your commission rate will be calculated from the net order total (after any discounts). We hold all commissions for 60 days to account for returns, and process payments on the first day of the calendar month. On the first day of each month, we will calculate all commissionable transactions for your account and process your payment.
Payout Options
You can elect to receive your commissions via NameSilo account funds or PayPal. There are no minimums or fees for NameSilo account fund payments, but there is a $ minimum for PayPal payments. Therefore, if you select PayPal as your payout method, we will only process payments according to the schedule above if there is at least $ in your account. Also, we will deduct 2% from every PayPal payment (up to $20) to cover PayPal processing costs. If you do not select a payout option, we will automatically payout using NameSilo account funds.
Affiliate-Only Coupons
From time to time we will release special coupons only to be used in conjunction with the affiliate program. These coupons will provide an additional discount to any referred users. You will have the ability to create your own redemption codes for each of these coupons that is unique to your program. Any commissions for orders using an affiliate-only coupon will be based upon the order total after any discounts.
Miscellaneous
Any terms not specifically outlined in this document concerning the NameSilo affiliate program will default to our general terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement in our sole discretion by updating this document at any time. We may or may not notify you of any such changes.
You agree that all marketing materials, including, but not limited to the NameSilo logo and other NameSilo branding, remains the exclusive property of NameSilo.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your use of this program at any time without cause. In the event we terminate your use of this program, we will pay out any outstanding commissions within 60 days.
