Profiles (also referred to as "Order Profiles") are a way to group contacts together to associate with new domain orders and transfers. For each domain, there are 4 roles that must have a contact associated. These 4 roles are Registrant, Administrative, Technical and Billing. With each new domain order and for domain transfers, you need to let us know which contact to apply for each role. Instead of making these designations one-by-one, you can create a profile which already has the contacts defined for each role. Therefore, each profile consists of 4 contacts, one for each of the roles listed above.
When ordering or transferring a domain, you will have the ability to select from one of your profiles. Each domain in the order will then inherit the contact roles associated with that profile selection.
