Adding/Modifying Order Profiles
Adding and modifying order profiles has no impact on the WHOIS information associated with any domains that have the applicable contact profiles associated with them.
For example, if you applied an order profile with a new domain order, the initial contacts and WHOIS information would reflect the contact selections associated with that profile. However, if you update that same profile later on, the contacts and WHOIS information for the domain will not be impacted. The easiest way to remember how profiles work is to understand that they are only used for new domain registrations and initial transfer requests.
