Transfer Search
Requirements for domain transfer
- Must be registered at a different registrar
- Must not be locked at the current registrar (If it is, you should be able to easily unlock the domain)
- Must not have a pending UDRP case
- Must have been registered more than 60 days ago
- Must not have been transferred to the current registrar less than 60 days ago
We provide multiple options for initializing a new domain transfer order.
Single Domain Search
The Single Domain Search option allows you to search for the availability of transferring a single domain name. Simply enter in the domain name you are interested transferring and press the "Search" button.
Multiple Domain Search
This option allows you to search for the availability of transferring up to 500 domain names at one time. Simply enter the domain names you would like to transfer by entering one domain name per line and then pressing the "Submit" button. If you know the transfer authorization code at this time, you can include it by following the domain name with a comma and then the authorization code (for example, you could transfer "namesilo.com" and associated authorization code of "12345" as "namesilo.com, 12345" all on one line. It is not a problem if you do not know the authorization code at the time of the initial transfer order as you will have the ability to add it later on. If you enter more than 500 domains, we will process the first 500 and display a message indicating that the excess domains have been removed from the search.
Upload Domain List
This option allows you to upload a .txt file with up to 500 domains, with each domain on it's own line in the file. As long as you upload a file with a .txt extension that is not larger than 2MB, your results will display. Simply click the "Browse" button to locate the .txt file on your computer and then click the "Submit" button. Like with the Multiple Domain Search, if you enter more than 500 domains, we will process the first 500 and display a message indicating that the excess domains have been removed from the search. You may also follow the instructions for the Multiple Domain Search above for including the authorization code, if known, for each domain.
