Setting Up Titan Mail with Your NameSilo Domain: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access Your NameSilo Account

  • Log in to your NameSilo account using the username and password.

Step 2: Open Domain Manager

  • Locate and open the Domain Manager from the left sidebar in your NameSilo account.

  • Click on the blue globe icon within the Domain Manager to access the DNS Manager.

Step 4: Create MX Records

  • Navigate to the DNS Manager and locate the section for MX records.
  • Add two new MX records with the following details:

MX   mx1.titan.email with Priority/Distance 10  TTL 3600

MX  mx2.titan.email with Priority/Distance 20  TTL 3600

Step 5: Configure SPF Records

  • In the DNS Manager, find the TXT/SPF record link.
  • Create a new TXT record with the following as the value. Make sure to keep the hostname field empty.

v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~all

Step 6: Generate DKIM Records

  • To generate DKIM, navigate to your Email Manager or Titan Mail Control Panel. Click on the ‘Manage’ button.

  • Open the ‘Email Reputation’ Page.

  • Scroll down and expand till you see the DKIM record section.

Note: If you are on the Titan Starter plan, you must access the Titan Control Panel from the cPanel ▶️ Add/Manage Email Accounts page.

 

Step 7: Add DKIM Records

  • Return to the DNS Manager.
  • Create a new TXT record for the DKIM selector provided by Titan Mail.
  • Enter the corresponding hostname in the hostname field. Usually, it looks like  titan1._domainkey
  • Enter the value and add 3600 as TTL

Step 8: Propagation

  • After adding the MX, SPF, and DKIM records, allow 15-20 minutes for DNS records to propagate. Once the propagation is complete, Click the ‘Connect Domain’ and ‘Verify Again’ from Email Manager to complete the process.

  • Verify your Titan Mail configuration by sending a test email. Ensure that the email is delivered successfully.
