Please note that you do not need to transfer your domain out if you are looking to use your domain with a hosting provider other than us. You simply need to point your domain to your hosting provider which we can help you do. To get the EPP code, please go here: https://www.namesilo.com/account_domains.php and click on ‘CSV’ (top right of the page). Click Yes when prompted and the EPP codes will be included in the excel file.

You can approve the transfer out of your own domain by going here: https://www.namesilo.com/account_transfers.php

The most common reason for rejection is that your domain is under a transfer lock since it was created or transferred within the last 60 days. As per ICANN policy, you cannot transfer out a domain that has bee registered or transferred within the last 60 days.

To unlock your domain, please go here: https://www.namesilo.com/account_domains.php, check the box beside all the domain names you wish to unlock and click ‘Unlock Domains’ along the top.

We cannot remove the 60-Day ICANN lock for newly or recently transferred domains, if your domain is under clientTransferProhibited lock you can remove it by going to your domain manager page https://www.namesilo.com/account_domains.php, then check the box beside all of the domain names you wish to unlock followed by clicking ‘Unlock Domains’ along the top in the action bar.

As per ICANN policy, you cannot transfer out a domain that was registered or transferred within the last 60 days. Yes, it is possible. You will need to unlock your domain and download the EPP code by clicking the CSV icon on the top right of this page: https://www.namesilo.com/account_domains.php

To get the EPP code, please go here: https://www.namesilo.com/account_domains.php and click CSV (top right of the page). Click Yes when prompted whether you want the EPP codes included in the file.

To have it emailed to you, proceed to the domain manager page, click on the domain name in question, and on the next page simply choose the option ‘send by email’.

By default we keep all your old settings when transferring the domain to us. This means that if you currently have 3rd party Name Servers set up, these would remain upon the completion of the transfer. The DNS options you have configured at your old registrar migrate over.
