Everything about e-mail
Email, one of the major necessities and bonuses of having a new spiffy domain name. Some hosting providers provide email services through them, or through hosting plans. Others like Gsuite offer a full email Gmail type package for a price. We'll talk about the options that are most used below. .section-title Installing Wordpress
Third Party E-mail
There are several options out there for email, if you want the full email experience. Gsuite is a pretty popular option for a full email suite. This requires creating an account with Gsuite and then adding specific DNS records to your domain which we've talked about above.
Gsuite:
Step 1: Access the wizard: Sign in to the Admin console. Click the More icon at the top right and choose Setup.
Step 2: Verify your domain. If you haven't done so already, the wizard will ask you to prove you own your domain, which is required to begin using G Suite with your domain. This requires setting up a certain DNS record Google will provide, we talked about how to do so in cPanel earlier.
Step 3: Create user accounts. Next, you'll step through moving your users to G Suite. You can move all your users now. Or move just a few users who want to test our services.
Step 4: Set up Gmail and other services. Once you've added users, you can step through activating their Gmail accounts and setting up their core services, like Google Calendar, Drive, and Sites.
Step 5: Migrate mail, use mobile devices, and more. Throughout setup, the wizard lets you tailor configuration for your organization, asking whether you want to migrate old mail, set up G Suite on mobile devices, and much more!
Step 4: Set up Gmail and other services. Once you've added users, you can step through activating their Gmail accounts and setting up their core services, like Google Calendar, Drive, and Sites.
Sign in to the Admin console and click the More icon at the top to get started now.
Various other 3rd party e-mail providers such as Zoho, Yandex mail, Office 365, Bluehost and other options have similar steps on how to connect your domain that involves changing your DNS records to both connect and verify your domain with them. You should always check for exact steps that need to be done to connect your domain with your mailbox. There are also various DNS templates available when managing your records to make connecting your mail provider quicker and easier.
