NameSilo simplifies domain transfers with its convenient domain push feature. Whether you’re collaborating on projects, selling domains, or consolidating your accounts, the push feature streamlines the process. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps for pushing domains between two NameSilo accounts.
What is the Cost of Domain Push?
The domain push feature provided by NameSilo is absolutely free. Unlike traditional transfers that may be subject to ICANN’s 60-day transfer lock, domain pushing within NameSilo doesn’t encounter this restriction. It’s a seamless and cost-effective way to transfer domain ownership between two NameSilo accounts.
Step-by-Step Guide: Domain Transfer Using Domain Push
Step 1: Access Domain Manager Page
Begin by navigating to the Domain Manager page within your NameSilo account.
Step 2: Ensure Domain is Unlocked
Check that the domain you want to push is unlocked. You can confirm this by verifying that the padlock icon is gray instead of yellow. If it is yellow, click on it to disable the lock.
Step 3: Select Domains for Push
Tick the box next to the domain(s) you wish to push. This action selects the domains for the upcoming transfer.
Step 4: Initiate Push Domains
Locate the “Push Domains” icon positioned at the top of the domain list in the “ACTIONS for Selected Domains” section. Click on it to initiate the domain push process.
Step 5: Enter Credentials
On the domain push page, you will be prompted to enter your NameSilo password and the username of the receiver (the recipient’s NameSilo username). Provide the required credentials to proceed.
Step 6: Submit the Push Request to Complete Domain Transfer
After entering the necessary information, click the ‘Submit’ button to submit the domain push request. This action will finalize the transfer process between the two NameSilo accounts.
Resolving Domain Push Issues: Unverified Receiver Email
In the event of a failed domain push due to an unverified receiver email, the issue can be resolved by requesting the receiver to go through the following steps:
Go to Contact Manager
Access the Contact Manager within your NameSilo account.
Email Verification Manager
Select the Email Verification Manager tab.
Resend Verification Email
Resend the verification email to initiate the email verification process.
You should then click on the link received in the email to complete the verification process. Once these steps are completed, the domain push should proceed without any issues.
The domain push feature offers a hassle-free method for transferring domain ownership between two NameSilo accounts. The straightforward process, coupled with its cost-effectiveness, makes it an ideal choice for various domain management scenarios. Whether you’re collaborating with others or optimizing your domain portfolio, leverage the domain push feature for a seamless transfer experience
